Blog Award! And Cookies!

I have recently  been catching up on other blogger's  post updates and I saw that Valerie of Une Gamine dans La Cuisine had choose me and my blog as one of her 12 blog picks to passed on the "One Lovely Blog Award". Thank you Valerie for the kind words and I'm glad that I amazed you with my photos and process, that really means a lot from a fellow blogger :D.

Now the hard part I have to choose12 blogs and thats a toughy because their so many good blogs out their that I like.; however I think I'll go by  the blogs  I usually always visit. No real order here.

I also have a recipe to show off to all of you, which I almost forgot to add to this new post. I'm glad I remembered because they are really good cookies and not a recipe to pass up.
These are really simple"Peanutty Crisscrosses", which aren't really crisscrosses in my version of this cookie because I added my favorite ingredient them, CHOCOLATE CHIPS! :D YUM YUM. I also used soft margarine as replacement to hard and the cookies came out a lot moister/ chewy :D
They came out wonderfully in appearance with my changes and made quite a few decent sized cookies that are really delicious. They are very chewy, moist and pack a punch in flavor.Definitely a cookie recipe for anyone at any level of baking can do.

Hope you enjoy and have fun with your baking. I'll be around with a new post with the next baking adventure.

Also, if you have any ideas in what I should bake in the future or a recipe you want me to do. Please comment on my wall on my Facebook fan page. The Art Of Baking-Baking By Dini Dykema

  1. Congrats on the award! And those cookies look fantastic too. I have no idea if the sale is going on in BC right now but they are pretty much the same store and a lot of their marketing is across Canada so either check online or in their recent flyer. For a baker like you, it's good to stock up!

Yah I went to superstore today(sunday) and they didn't have a baking sale. They did have the same set up like in your picture, but everything was pretty much same price and a couple thing lower. Maybe, will get it here later on closer to Christmas season. When people are really wanting to bake up a storm :P.

I got to see what I'll bake for my gifts :P
