Cinnamon Rolls are a favorite to many and seem to put in the role of the breakfast and quick bread family. It seem to be a cross between cinnamon buns and sticky buns, but still sticks on its own as an individual. There all equally delicious though and I tend to make sure to find a recipe to make different versions.
These cinnamon rolls have a great attractive appearance to them and bring off a great aroma of flavor. Its a bakery treat that is pretty hard to fight back temptation to try one and pretty much talks to you saying" take one, I'm so good lol".
The crazy thing is I have always love cinnamon rolls/buns since I was a kid, but I have never been a big fan of raisins. So you think I wouldn't like these treats since mostly the fillings to theses are either raisins or currants, but to the contrary I love the combination and forget I am even eating raisins. Your pretty much tricking yourself by slightly changing its flavor or combination with a favorite. Baking and cooking can easily do this with ingredients you may not like on there own.
The only down side to these buns is there always gone so quickly and a single recipe is never enough. Recommend doubling the ingredients for this recipe for a good amount of deliciousness.
There delicious when warm and gooey; however there even better cold when the flavors have really absorbed themselves in the bread. I absolutely love it and its only a few ingredients of brown sugar, raisins, butter and cinnamon that create that wonderful flavor.
I haven't met anyone that didn't like these kinds of treats beside being allergic to something in them, which is a darn shame for some people. But for the ones that can eat all they want in treats. Try this one on for size. Its easy and has simple ingredients!
