Happy Easter Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great long weekend while spending time with friends and family.My weekend has so far been pretty good and I was lucky enough to get Friday and Saturday off to enjoy a delicious turkey dinner for Easter. I also was able to fit in one recipe test for the next chapter of Classic Snacks and I'm excited to show all of you very soon.Well anyways,I hope everyone is enjoying my reviews so far and be sure to enjoy this weekend it will go by in an flash.It's already Sunday!

Happy Hippity Hoppity Easter!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!  Hope everyone has a great day and all the kids get lots of treats from the Easter rabbit.Also, can't forget that Easter dinner with all that delicious food.Yum! For me, I got to celebrate Easter a day early and for today I get to spend some time with my boyfriend Dave. Pretty good weekend I would say. I also, can't forget to mention that I was able to fit in a treat. I made a large batch of Easter Sugar Cookies to help celebrate all of this weekend. I had lots of fun icing them on Saturday morning with every one's help.Every one's creativity is represented in these cookies. These were delicious Easter shaped sugar cookies with semisweet chocolate chips and decorated with colored icing. This was a super easy recipe that I adapted from a Hershey Chipits Valentines Hearts recipe.   Happy Easter Everyone !   Hope every one's long weekend is full of chocolate, great food and relaxation! Hopefully good weather too. So far for the Easter weekend I have made Easter/Spring sugar cookies with an added bonus of chocolate chips and dried cranberries yum :D.These cookies are always a hit around this time of year and so simple to bake. Also last night we all dye some Easter eggs and I made sure to showcase some in the pictures. Hehe can you find the hidden Easter egg? lol :P. Easter pictures cant go without Easter eggs and mini eggs :). I will also have a follow up Easter dessert in the upcoming days :).
