I've Got Some Chewy Chocolate Cookies

These are some delightful, rich, crunchy and chewy chocolate cookies. Also with the added bonus of pieces of chocolate chunks on top for appearance and dried cranberries mixed in the cookie dough to add a sweetness to it.

This simple and fast recipe comes from my Foods 12 course. In the course we as well used this cookie recipe to make vanilla ice cream sandwiches, those were definitely a good hit with the class.

These kinds of cookies spread a lot to become large thinner cookies instead of smaller and thicker cookies. However with this cookies you get the great texture of crunchy and chewy without being thicker.
Enjoy!

What I did in the recipe:

  • Cut up chunks of semisweet baker chocolate and place pieces on top of cookie dough before baking.
  • Added cranberries to the cookie dough.
