Here is a recipe that I have used a few times from "The Big Book Of Baking" and I would say its the best scone recipe I have made so far. They are cheap in ingredients, easy to put together and everyone will think you spent a lot of hard work into it;however baking is hard work in all different levels especially homemade.
These scones have a wonderful warm, buttery and cheese flavor wrapped all inside just waiting to release its intoxicating aroma from within. It has tasty moist layers from within and a crunchy, spicy outside. Their appearance is really eye catching with its golden exterior along with the melted cheese and pepper wrapped altogether for one delicious scone. I found myself addicted to these delicious scones and if you ever make these yourself don't say I didn't warn you about them.So enjoy your baking.
