These are my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe thus this far and has everything you want in a cookie. They are thick and chewy, with crunchy edges and deliciously moist centers. They have intense rich chocolaty flavor and are wonderful for the milk dunkers around. I love cookies that are excellent for drinking with milk. I'm glad I stumbled upon "Thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies" from a great blog called rhubarb whine that has some really awesome baking and cooking recipes,I recommend everyone to check it out.
When I made this recipe it was about eleven at night and extremely warm .Also to answer your question to why I was baking at such a late hour was because I was craving chocolate chips and milk.Anyways, So I made the cookie dough, which was really simple and quick. Then I followed the idea of keeping the dough in the fridge and baking the cookies the next day. They came out exactly as promised, but I think I made mine slightly smaller. I plan on keeping this recipe for another time to use for future use.I'm always trying to find a really great chocolate chip cookie recipe because there are so many disappointing ones out there, even in over priced recipe books. So thank you to the other blogger for posting this recipe you got my fix on chocolate.
So check out the recipe and try it out yourself.
What I Did
- Made slightly smaller ones
- Used 2 bag Hershey milk chocolate chips
- Used two lg eggs( instead of 1 egg and 1 yolk)
Glad you liked them. They are my second favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe. My first? The Nigella Lawson one (also on my blog).
