Petite Treats:Sweet Treats.F.U. Brownies! ;)

"Sweet Snacks" is the next chapter in Petite Treats that is dedicated to our guilty pleasures from cupcakes all the way to doughnuts. When I saw this chapter I thought about all my favorite baked treats and many of the recipes from this chapter I wanted to test out. However that being said it made it that much harder to choose a recipe when I have so many guilty pleasures. So I ended up choosing a treat that intrigued me based on its title. You picked a recipe based on it title? Ha-ha ,Yeah I actually did! They are called F.U. brownies quoted by the author that they are reviewed to be "so good they're laced with profanity" ha-ha . When I read this I just had to make them because I love when humor is used in cookbooks and doesn't everyone want to know if these are so good you might swear. All I think is will I say" Shut the F**** Door ;) Well before we find out if anyone would really swear when tasting these *wink* wink*. Everyone wants to know if...

Dairyland Review|:Light Chocolate Brownies

I'm back again with a new recipe where you can use Dairyland Fat Free S our C ream to help create a light chocolate brownie. Now I know this season is all about enjoying the sweet treats and comfort food;however if you want a recipe that is a little healthier this season then try out light recipes. You might find something you really love!  Now this recipe that I used from Martha Stewart online does cut out a few important ingredients that are in most popular brownie recipes. So don't expect a heavy fudged texture brownie with this recipe if that's what your really looking for. This recipe is all about creating something a little lighter on the waistline and stunt your chocolate cravings. It uses homemade apple sauce to create sweetness to replace the sugar. Then we have the canola oil and sour cream for our fat content to create texture. In the end you have a rich chocolate flavor with a hint of apple and then a tender cake-like texture.Overall, its an inte...

Rocky Road Brownies And Monkey Bread

I made some sticky sweet treats and they are super easy to make, plus a lot of fun to decorate.I haven't made rocky road brownies in a long time. I actually think It was one of my first few recipes I did for this blog. If I look back I can imagine my photo taking skills are a whole lot different. From this picture you can see that the brownies are very dense and fudgy, while chewy and crunchy.A picture can say something 10 times better then any of the words that I could use. That's why I love taking food pictures. These are very sweet brownies and that basically controls your intake. They are one of those once in a blue moon recipes to make.Great summer recipe ,especially for picnics. So if you crave marshmallows, chocolate and nuts, this brownie is for you.Lots of fun to make, very little ingredient and children will love to sprinkle on the toppings. Rocky Road Nut Brownies ( Adapted From Rocky Road Brownies, Martha Stewart ) 1/2 cup margarin...

Brownie Pops To The Rescue!

Here are some yummy delectable treats. This simple Rich And Fudgy Brownie recipe was transformed into two bite brownie pops. I halved the recipe for less ingredient and the batter came out wonderfully. It was really fun to dress up a delicious treat by making them lollipops. I just used a few Popsicle sticks, a mini muffin tin, chocolate glaze and few sprinkles to bring these babies together. Easy peasy creation and well worth the time and effort put into it. I think I'll even make these again farther into summer and perfected the creation for myself.Maybe a different glaze or sprinkle, or use some lollipop sticks ummm? Got my brain going now with creative ideas. The other thing I'm really happy about with this treat is I got to reuse the flower pot and Styrofoam for display. Only sad part of it, is this is probably the last time the piece of Styrofoam can be used.Oh well it had a good run :) For some creative ideas on these brownies. You use any kind of  holder like a lollipo...

Pecan Caramel Fudge Brownies

This is my favorite brownie recipe thus far. Its chocolaty, chewy and best of all fudgy. I do prefer fudge like brownies then ones with cake texture. I have used these recipe quite a few times since I found it online and I keep using it,so I must love it. Every time I make them I change it or put additions. This time I mixed in chopped pecans and caramel filling. I had leftover caramel filling from the chocolates I made so instead of wasting it I thought I add it to the next recipe.Best of all it fits in a brownie recipe and gives that sticky, crunchy, rich texture.

Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies :D

This is a brownie everyone will want to get their hands on, especially the peanut butter lovers out there :D. Delicious combination of rich dark chocolate and smooth peanut butter, what's not to like about that. It has a great fudge like texture and a uniquely, beautiful appearance that will intrigue everyone. The recipe is so simple and actually gives you an added bonus of three different brownie versions for you to try out. I think I might try out the Rocky Road Version next time I have marshmallows to use up and see where that takes me.However I warn anyone that makes any of these versions they are deliciously sweet and complication from eating them may be sugar rush and very full tummy lol :P. Have fun eating and baking those brownies!

Summer Picnic

On Sunday ,me and Krysta planned a friend get together, which was a picnic and swim at our nearest lake.We had about 8-9 people show up and everyone pitched in to bring some food. It was full of laughter, amusement and catching up on old times.Krysta has a couple interesting posts about the picnic.Including photos turned into cute doodle art. For the picnic, I made some homemade salsa and  dill dip to go along with some tortilla mini rounds.I also had homemade baking, which included blackberry mini muffins and "Rich And Fudge Brownies" .The brownies and mini muffins were eaten in no time at all.

Baking And Swimming Adventures

I made these delicious rich " peanut butter brownies" to bring along to a swimming adventure at the nearest lake with my boyfriend David and two friends(Chrissy and Krysta);however some were eating before and then I forgot to bring the rest to my friends. So the only people that got to try them out was me and David, but we were impressed by them. I will have to make sure to bake another item for our next adventure on Monday for them to enjoy, which is another brownie recipe posted here.

Two Bite Brownies

I made these lovely two bite treats from going by a fudgy brownie recipe that I found on a wonderful blog that I follow called  Jenn's Baking Chamber, and I recommend any readers to check it out.Jenn has wonderful recipes that Ive tried out multiple times in the past.As you can see these are not the original looking brownies Jenn made because I used mini muffin pans with liners for a smaller sized brownie.I also made a lovely milk chocolate glaze for the topping along with some colorful sprinkles.

Oh! Henry Brownies

Oh! Henry Brownie. Yesterday, I  was trying to find a recipe to make where I could use my extra Easter candy in, which were those Oh Henry Chocolate egg bars.I came upon a recipe in one of my baking books called "HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE LOVER'S COOKBOOK" which was a recipe for brownies;however with this  kind of brownie I substituted the optional nuts in the ingredients for chopped up Oh! Henry chocolate egg bars. This recipe makes a rich, sweet, dark and chocolaty flavored brownie along with its chewy, moist and crunchy texture. They really taste a lot like a Oh! Henry bar,but with a brownie texture of course.

Yet Another Recipe For Brownies

Here is another delicious brownie that's moist, chewy and crunchy. It has the rich flavor of milk chocolate and the cocoa powder. Also has the sweet flavor of the cranberries and the taste of almonds. This recipe comes from my recipe book called "sweet food".It is a very simple and easy to follow recipe.I like these brownies even more then the last ones I posted because these are even more moist and I added my own ingredients such as cranberries and almonds which gave some good combination flavors.Enjoy!   What Is your favorite combination for brownies? What do you think about this blog? Give your input.

Fudgy,Nutty,Chewy Brownies

Yay ! Brownies! I'll have to give blame as while as credit to my sister, my brother in- law and my nephew for putting brownies in my head;however for people to know I don't mean literally stacking brownies in an open head. That really would just ruin these delicious simple brownies. These brownies come from one of my high school recipes, but I added the nuts for my personal touch to the baking. These delicious wonders have got the slight texture of fudge, a nutty texture and all around chewy. Their not terribly rich like fudge is,but its enough chocolate flavor where people end up coming back for more. They have a lovely appearance as you can see, where the glaze is given great emphasis to the hazelnuts.

Get On The Path Of The Fudgy Rocky Road

I just love it when you find those so called hidden recipes on the back of those baking products :).With these delicious little numbers, it wasn't a rocky road process to make them. Anyways I found this recipe on the back of none other then a mini marshmallow bag with actually two other recipes along with it.When I saw the words fudge and brownie I was definitely a hundred percent sure I was going to make these little babies right away.
